This is obviously a TV-MA or R rated movie due to the nudity, language, violence and gore. For those that watched the first, there is still an obscene amount of gore in the movie, much like the first movie. While it left out some parts, it also went into more detail in some scenes which helped the advancement of the story. When I watched it, it sounded muffeled and had some odd rings here and there.Īs a fan of the series, I quite enjoyed watching the second movie. Sound quality will vary on the version you watch. Some parts of the anime have been skipped due to a time constraint on the movie, but viewers will know the general story line. The second movie has a very quick synopsis of the first, and starts in the middle of a fight, it would have been nice to have a few scenes that are leading up to the battle, to help remind the viewer of what is happening. If you have watched the anime (early 1990's) you will already know the plot line of the second movie, but you will notice that some things are left out. Personally, I am not a fan of some of the voice actors, as some do not seem to fit the character. Watching the movie is somewhat challenging if you do not like the new animation style, but it is not that bad once you get used to it. It uses the same upgraded animation style as the first. Firstly, it is hard to find a quality version, unless you are lucky enough to have a dvd or blu-ray copy.
